President Muhammadu Buhari has won the Kaduna All Progressives Congress(APC) presidential primary election with 1.9,565m votes cast by members of the party,through direct election across the 23 Local government areas of the State .
Kaduna State Governor ,Malam Nasir El-Rufai who is also the Returning Officer of the election ,announced the results at the Kaduna APC Secretariat on Sunday evening .
According to El-Rufai, the election took place on Friday 28th,September ,2018 with video and pictorial recordings of conduct the election .
He said , ” It took us two days to compile the results because large number of party members turned out to vote “.he noted .
Reading the summary of the results collated from the local government headquarters and forwarded to the State party headquarters by the chairmen ,El-Rufai said ,” The total registered members of APC are 1.15,224m, accredited members 1.9,787m and total votes cast stand at 1.956,5m.
The Governor ,who said details of the results would sent the National Headquarters of APC , however declared President Buhari as the duly elected winner of the election .
