The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 13, Edo State has donated various relief materials to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camp, Uhogua, Benin city City, as part of measures to alleviate their plight.
The items worth over five hundred thousand naira included different varieties of food items, clothes, books, bags and many other materials.
The Pastor in charge of Region 13, (PICR), Pastor Dele Balogun, while presenting the items to the coordinator of the camp, Solomon Folorunsho, stated that the items were part of the ministry way of identifying with the people, and to appreciate God’s goodness in their lives.
Speaking further, daddy region as fondly called who led Pastors in charge of Provinces (PICPs), and their assistants (APICPs), and other pastors in the Region to the camp used the occasion to encourage them on the need to be closer to God more especially in this their moments which he said would catapult them to greater heights in the near future.
“I want to appreciate the management of this camp, there is no gain saying that they are doing great work towards the advancement of the kingdom of God, and that of humanity in ensuring the well being of these people.
“I pray that Almighty God will surely bless them all. Also, I thank God for these people, they are not here by accident, God has brought them in order to prepare them for greater things in lives. And what God has destined for them, they will surely get there.” Pastor Balogun said.
In his response, Folorunsho stated: “I thank our daddy and all our pastors from the depth of my heart. This visit and donation have encouraged us greatly, through the word of exaltation and encouragement released unto them. The children are very happy.
“And this kind of visit inspired us to do more, it has inspired our hope and aspiration to believe in God, and that the future of these young ones with all sense of responsibility, we are grateful.”
