Pro Kwankwaso Group Seeks Ties With Ndibgo

A pro Kwankwaso group propagating the vision and ideologies of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso ,has sought for closer ties with the Ndibgo in the quest to foster peace and unity across the diverse people of Nigeria.
Coordinator of the Kwankwasiyya group, Aliyu Adamu Kwankwaso, who led other group members on a visit to prominent Ndigbo leaders, said doing so has become imperative so as to further unite the people and close any gap of suspicion that could pose a threat to peaceful coexistence.
The group particularly commended  Chief Flora .N. Ilonzo (Orinandu 1 of Ukehe),  who had opened her doors to Northerners and other Nigerians resident in Eastern Nigeria especially during emergencies and times of need.
Chief Flora ilonzo, according to the group, had built a school and equipped it with scientific equipment needed in the school 35 years ago and that was the reason the Old students of the school decided to hold an event which would serve as a remembrance and reconfirmation of her chieftaincy tittle as the orinandu of ukehe.
They said the gesture was due to her good work towards encouraging people to be literate, especially in science and technology.
The group also presented a ram to Chief Ilonzo as a token of appreciation for her good works and Philantrophy
Important guests on the occasion included Chief John Nnia nwodo (President General ohaneze indigbo), the oldest man in the community, the former speaker Enugu state Houses of assembly,Mr Eugene Odoh, His royal highness of Ukehe Igwe Micheal Udoh, the Northern women for social change group and numerous others .
