The Chairman and founder of Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria, pastor Yohanna Buru has been described as a pillar of unity whose stereotype is to always ensuring that people of different diverse live in peace and harmony.
The call for the need to reward a man like him for his relentless efforts towards promoting peaceful co-existence among the Kaduna residents especially at the grassroots was made by the popular statements of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) Kaduna council during the new year get together organized for Kaduna Journalists by the cleric on Monday.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of NUJ, Kaduna Council, Comrade Adamu Yusuf commended Buru’s gesture, saying that no meaningful development could be achieved in a society that is rampage with rancor and disunity among the diverse.
“Buru deserves an award not only within the state but at the Federal Level so as to gear him up to do more in the promotion of peace especially among the youth who constituted the large portion of the Nigeria’s population.
“These are the kind of people we want in our society. People that promote peace among people irrespective of their religion, ethnicity and tribe,” Adamu said.
Earlier, in his speech, a Veteran Journalist, Alh. Tajudeed Ajibade says: “Pastor Buru need nothing but the prayer of everybody because of his mindset towards promoting peace especially in a state like Kaduna State.
“ I have being on several occasions were pastor Buru will organized youth to promote peace among them”.
The Veteran Journalists therefore called on Nigerians to follow the footsteps of Pastor Buru in his spirit of promotion of peace and love for one another.
