Adamawa: Be Worthy Ambassadors & Pray For Nigeria, Gov. Jibrilla tells Christian Pilgrims

Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla Bindow, has admonished Adamawa State Christian Pilgrims to the Holy land of Israel to be law abiding, prayerful and remain as good ambassadors of Adamawa State thruoghout their stay.

In a press statement signed by governor spokesperson Macaulay Hunohashi made available to TraceReporter said that the governor made the call on Friday night, when he personally visited the Christian Pilgrims to witness their airlift from Yola International airport.

“Please pray for our dear State, against the backdrop of recent happenings in some of our communities. Pray for our country and better health for President Muhammadu Buhari,” he urged them.

The Governor was at the airport at about 8: 30 in the evening, to witness the arrival of the Airbus from Israel and airlift of the 278 intending pilgrims at about 11:30 pm.

Among the Christian Pilgrims were the Head of Service Dr Luis Mandama, Hon Shanti Sashi, Chief Maurice Vunobolki, Hon Ndikashe Mariko, Hon Micheal Zira, Hon Albert Artuwicha, Hon Atta Mustapha, Ladi Adamu of the NTA, Hon Mathias Yohana, George Kushi of AIT and members of the Clergy.
