Haruna Aliyu Usman, kebbi
Women participation in politics is getting roots in kebbi state, this is according to Ubaida Mera a young politician contesting the post of state women leader.
She said her desire to join politics was driven by her love for women rights who she said were marginalised by men therefore hard for them to get to corridors of power to assist women.
The young princess of Argungu added that women in politics are not prostitute as misunderstood by many saying her blood brother Tafidan Kabi introduced her to it so if not good he wouldn’t that.
Mera said the state APC is already failing as there is hunger all over the place, job losses and failed promises therefore women should put hands on deck to chase away the ruling party.
According to her the last administration, women were given soft loans for small business some were into grinding and knitting among many house hold businesses.
she confirmed that some women who defected to APC are now returning back to PDP, she urged women to be good mothers and help in the radical change the party is warming up to bring.
